FCMG’s on site QA/QC inspection services
include:
• Provide on-site inspections
for performance, quality and workmanship
• Prepare daily inspection reports
• Monitoring and reporting all quantities in
place
• Review and approve progress pay estimates
• Performing monthly traffic control inspection
on traffic control devices
• Performing weekly SWPPP inspections on all
BMP (best management practice) devices
• Clarify technical issues (RFIs) or coordinated
RFIs with City Staff or Design Engineers
• Assisting in reviewing all change orders
• Verify Contractor maintains as-built drawings
• Inspect formwork
• Inspect and approve rebar placement
• Monitor on-site concrete placement
• Inspect pipe installation
• Inspect materials delivered on-site
• Review and approve material-on-hand
• Monitor and arrange on-site material testing
• Resolve local resident and/or local business
complaints
• Resolve non-design related construction issues
(traffic control changes, utility conflicts, changes in
phasing, access to local businesses)
• Coordinate unforeseen conditions with local
utilities (utility conflicts)
• Coordinate with SAWS for televising storm
drain lines
• Perform substantial completion inspection
• Prepare punch-list
• Request TDLR final inspections (ADA Compliance)
• Review and approval final payment to contractor
• Provide services during warranty period
• Review contractor’s DBE compliance
• Review contractor’s Labor compliance
(Hour & Wage Compliance)
FCMG is also managing all document controls
for the program to ensure maximum reimbursement for the
City of San Antonio by TxDOT and FHWA.
