As the Administrative Specialist, FCMG
was in charge of all document controls using the SAWS PM
Portal website, Prolog Manager and Prolog Website, an Internet
based project document controls tool. As part of the services
provided on the Interconnect Project and other SAWS Projects
FCMG assisted in training project team members in using
Prolog Website and acted as the Website Administrator for
the SAWS Project Management Portal. FCMG also assisted
the Construction Management team in developing, deploying
and training a web-invoicing tool for SAWS. The project
included two tunnel sections, one under the San Antonio
River and one under the Salado Creek. One tunnel, 75 feet
underground, was dug by hand and the other, 100 feet underground,
was dug using a tunnel-boring machine (TBM). Digging of
the tunnels was a 24-hour operation.
